Consistent with the newly revised Bylaws for the Special Interest Group on Information Technology in Healthcare (SIG-HEALTH), the SIG must hold elections for the positions of President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer. A description of the responsibilities for each officer can be found on the fifth page of the attached Bylaws. You can reach our Bylaws at http://www.aissighealth.com/wordpress/?page_id=15.

As Immediate Past President, I am charged with chairing an Election Committee to nominate at least one candidate for each position. The SIG is scheduled to hold the Elections from July 10th through August 6th and announce the results at the August 10th Business Meeting held in conjunction with the America’s Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) in Seattle, Washington.

Nominations may also be made by any SIG member. Members need only forward me the name of the nominee by July 6th.

Any member interested in serving the SIG as President-Elect, Secretary, or Treasurer is encouraged to contact me directly for additional information.

Thank you,
